Once Upon A Time, Paul Steinberg Took a Walk in The Wilderness and Talked to an Elk
Once upon a time, Paul Steinberg went for a walk in the
wilderness. He ran into an Elk. He said to the Elk, “Hey Man, what’s
happening?”, the Elk replied, “Business is tough, but I’m hanging in. What’s up
with you?” Paul remarked, “I have a new book coming out in June. You can get it
on Amazon.” The Elk commented, “Amazon is always delivering my packages to the
wrong tree.” Paul assured the Elk, “No problem, message me on LinkedIn and I’ll
get you a copy.” The Elk felt important, special, because Paul had stopped to
talk to him, whereas most others, stopped to harm him. As they parted ways, the
Elk shouted to Paul, “Hey do you know where you are going? You could get lost
out here.” Paul looked over his shoulder, smiled, and replied, “We’re all lost.”
Moral of the story – Everyone has something to say, you just
need to listen (even if it’s an Elk).
